tales for terrific talkers®

tell me too!

for sale at our online Shop now

tell me too! tales for terrific talkers incorporates many of the raps, rhymes, songs and stories that comprised the Tales for Terrific Talkers Project. In addition to the text there are instructions for the performance of accompanying actions and suggestions on appropriate settings for storytelling and language sessions to take place. Introducing each segment is an explanation of the speech therapy techniques that are used when a particular rhyme is performed. Identifying these techniques enables early childhood workers to more effectively apply their knowledge of speech and language development to their programmes. Parents can also use the material for a fun way to work with their children. The rhymes and stories in this book are suitable for general populations of young children as well as to specifically address the therapeutic needs of children with language and speech delay.

Not the Crocodile

I kissed the cat, I kissed the cow, but not the crocodile.

Kookaburra, cockatoo, koala and a kangaroo,

But not the crocodile.

Why not the crocodile? Clap, clap, clap (clap hands)

Why not the crocodile? Snap, snap, snap.(make jaws with hands)
