tell me why! contains folktales from twelve different cultures. Many of the stories are Purquois (French for Why) tales and explore colours, light and darkness in their themes. There are also colourful ideas on presenting the tales so that they are both aurally and visually exciting. This storytelling handbook of songs, stories and dances is suitable for Primary School teachers and parents to use in the classroom and at home.

The workshop and book Morgon presented for our Librarians was entertaining, practical and inspiring. What a wonderful Australian resource to have to promote our indigenous and multicultural stories. We are looking forward to the next one.
